TOWSON, Md. —Baltimore County lawmakers are considering legislation directly related to immigrant outreach and immigration enforcement actions.

Two Baltimore County bills introduced in December are the subject of a County Council work session Tuesday to expand the county’s outreach in the community and add restrictions to federal immigration officers.

Supporters rallied Tuesday outside the Baltimore County Historic Courthouse in Towson on behalf of the bills, citing actions by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Maryland and across the country.
